Island Oars offers top quality
oars
made from carefully selected tight-grained douglas fir, sitka spruce
and ash for the drift boat oars and sitka spruce for the carved
sculling oars and spoon blade oars. One of my unique options is
the use of purpleheart hardwood that is extremely dense to help
protect the blade edges and tips which take the majority of abuse
during use. These oars are made for the discriminating buyer searching
for the beauty and feel of wood combined with high tech composites
to make for a light but durable product that is custom built for
each and every customer.
Every oar is unique and you will be proud to know that yours is
one of a kind and will be built
to your specifications and will not be found anywhere
else.
Just because our products are "custom" doesn't mean you
have to pay a kings ransom as I am a small company with a low overhead
that strives for quality rather than quantity. You are buying direct
from the manufacturer and avoiding the markups of the retailer and
the wholesalers.
I treat every customer as a fellow outdoors person that I want to
see completely satisfied with my products while enjoying them on
the water for many years to come. I guarantee to make every effort
to ensure your purchase is exactly what you need.
Thank you for taking your time to see what Island Oars is all about
and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact
me.
Sincerely, Paul E. Bagshaw
